CellTrust Victorious at U.S. Patent and Trademark Office against Third-Party Challenges
USPTO Rejects Third-Party Challenge and Confirms Patentability of CellTrust’s Patented Technology
We are pleased to reaffirm that we (CellTrust Corporation) received Ex Parte Reexamination Certificates from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in August 2024, thus successfully defending the challenges to the original CellTrust patent claims and confirming the patentability of the new CellTrust patent claims.
“Since it was founded, CellTrust has invested significantly to patent and protect its inventions. As an inventor and as the co-founder of CellTrust, we will continue to promote and protect our inventions so that our innovation and innovators are recognized and rewarded appropriately,” said Sean Moshir, CellTrust Chairman and CEO.
CellTrust received Ex Parte Reexamination Certificates from the USPTO for claims of U.S. Patent No.9,775,012 (“the ’012 Patent”) and claims of U.S. Patent No. 10,778,837 (“the ’837 Patent”).
The USPTO confirmed the patentability of new patent claims and rejected the third party’s challenge to the original patent claims, which remain the subject of other ongoing litigation.
