CellTrust SL2 and Salt Typhoon

As broadly publicized over the last few weeks, the FBI, CISA and the NSA recently announced that Salt Typhoon was responsible for a cybersecurity breach earlier this year within several major telecommunication operators’ infrastructure.

Primarily targeting government officials
So far, cybersecurity thought leaders across the globe agree that the Salt Typhoon exploits have been primarily targeting government officials and researchers, rather than commercial entities and individuals.

SL2 for WhatsApp
Customers that require additional security for communication with their clients, can take advantage of the CellTrust WhatsApp channel.

“Those using CellTrust SL2 App for internal communications within the enterprise are not affected by Salt Typhoon, as all SL2 internal communication is encrypted at rest and in transit,” explains Sean Moshir, CEO and Co-founder CellTrust.
